The National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO) delivers protective security guidance to crowded places, public organisations and private business, to mitigate terrorist attacks. It manages and trains an international network of around 200 CT Advisory staff for this crucial task. You’ll co-ordinate admin to ensure this happens efficiently, working as part of the Programme Delivery Unit.
It means supporting performance, products, training and events for NaCTSO’s Advisors and Supervisors, while acting as a point of contact for internal colleagues, the Centre for Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI) and external organisations. Where relevant, you’ll act as a representative for NaCTSO and negotiate joint training ventures and venues to make training more cost-effective.
Enthusiastic and highly organised, you can meet project deadlines and manage a busy workload. You’ll also be good with people, with the communication skills to present well in person and on paper. Crucially, you have a firm grasp of the current terrorist threat to the UK and its likely impact on public and private sectors. And above all, you’re keen to make a difference in a challenging, varied role.
Please note this role is subject to successful security vetting. This currently takes up to six months.
