We welcome applications from substantive Inspectors and substantive Detective Sergeants seeking promotion for an exciting opportunity to join our Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTP SE) Intelligence team.
You will oversee the assessment and development of intelligence to effectively identify and manage risk across the CTP SE Intelligence Management Function. You will provide management of the CTP SE Intelligence Management Function (Intelligence Management Unit and Field Intelligence and Operations), ensuring all information and intelligence is managed in line with the National Standards for Intelligence Management (NSIM).Training for NSIM will be provided on appointment.
You will ensure an effective and efficient provision of service to support the Counter Terrorism (CT) and Domestic Extremism (DE) within the South East region and, where applicable, nationally. This role is part of a national, regional and local network and as a result you will be required to travel for business purposes. This may include travel across the UK and is not limited to the south east. You will be asked to demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours in line with operational demand and occasionally this may require working away from home. The role is expected to support the provision of a regional on call function and duty weekend cover. You must be prepared to be security cleared to Developed Vetting (DV).
