Information about the Role

The post will be responsible for the development, review and maintenance of all policy related products to support the Counter Terrorism National Surveillance Capability in the areas of Human and Technical Surveillance delivering national policy and business assurance.

The post holder will be responsible for forward looking for opportunities, developing and delivering direction to ensure the National Surveillance Capability are aligned and interoperable to enhance the ways of working and return to the investigative capability. 

Responsibilities

  • The post holder will ensure comprehensive consistency and cataloguing of all relevant material with other key internal and external stakeholders and partners in the development of policy, guidance and standard operating procedures.
  • The post holder will plan and deliver national workshops, conduct consultation with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders.
  • The role will include close cooperation with the Operational Development Unit of CTP and those partners involved in the development, review and maintenance of associated surveillance material, including the College of Policing.
  • The post holder will also assist with assurance and performance reporting in respect of capability and capacity of CT National Surveillance.
