Information About The Role

As a senior project manager, you can make a real difference to Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) and help keep the country safe. Working on critical Information and Communications Technology (ICT) projects to support CTP, you’ll play your part in protecting the UK.

In this exciting role, you’ll manage teams and complex projects in a dynamic environment across the technology lifecycle. Together, you’ll deliver vital ICT to help CTP combat threats and perform at their best.

At this level, we’ll expect you to define methodologies, governance, and reporting; develop project workstream plans; and champion effective project delivery. As you work, you’ll keep senior stakeholders up to date and manage commercial processes alongside our Commercial team.

You’ll therefore need extensive experience of diverse ICT projects and a proven ability to deliver to tight deadlines. Thanks to this background, you’ll be adept at managing budgets and ensuring value for money.

Crucially, you’ll also have the communication skills to manage teams and complex stakeholder relationships, listening as much as you talk. Articulate both in person and on paper, you can present well and create clear written reports.
