Salary – £55,469 – £60,507 plus, a location allowance of £1,841 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

Behind the scenes of Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) is an incredible new tech team. They’re tasked with providing vital solutions to CTP – and you could be part of the unit. It’s a chance to change the way we deliver solutions to operational policing. At this level, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the new team and implement some of the exciting new technology and processes within the organisation. You’ll lead on designing and creating bespoke software following agile delivery processes as part of a DevSecOps team.

Day to day, you’ll be collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. The goal? Code that’s well tested and consistently error-free. Working flexibly from home or from one of our easily accessible offices in Birmingham or London, you’ll design, architect, and develop software solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. Responsibilities

  • To build future proof reusable code libraries, which can be shared, in-order to drive further efficiencies throughout the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to understand project requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure successful project delivery/
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for process optimization, automation, and productivity enhancement.
  • Lead on Integration of new services, infrastructure, or applications
