Salary – £42,232 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £50,385. Plus, a location allowance of £1,841 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

A career in Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) is like no other, as you’ll be playing your part in protecting the public. It’s essential that CTP staff can operate as effectively as possible. Take on a role as Service Design & Transition Manager, and you will ensure that the ICT services they need can be delivered — wherever they are.
You’ll help project managers to establish service design requirements and modelling for ongoing delivery. It will see you develop service design across the portfolio and provide a needed assurance function. In addition, you’ll see that the Service Operation as a whole is set up and in place to ensure easy handover and covers everything from incident management to the review of service desks.
Responsibilities
- Develop service design across the portfolio, this includes Catalogue management; Availability management; Service Level Management; Capacity Management; IT Service Continuity management; Information Security management; Supplier management.
- Provide an assurance function, protecting the BAU estate and existing Service Management capability.
- Responsible for ensuring that the Service Operation is set up and in place. This includes Event Management; Incident Management; Request fulfilment; Problem Management; Access Management. This also includes the review and setup of Service Desks, etc.
- Own and write the Operational Working Agreement(s). The purpose of this Operational Working Agreement (OWA) is to define the current responsibilities, service support processes and communications of all parties involved in the provision of the CTP services.
