Information about the Role

The Business Change Assistant will support one of the Business Change Managers (BCM) and/or Business Change Leads (BCL) in the successful management and implementation of one or more national change projects/programmes being delivered across the CTP Network. The changes undertaken vary but cover a broad spectrum including changes to policy and processes, estates moves / refurbishments, changes to IT including new systems, organisational restructures, people moves and cultural change.

Responsibilities

  • Engaging with key interested parties, including specialist experts in their field and senior management, to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Assisting with the development and review of project and programme communications, working in partnership with the Change Communications team
  • The day to day maintenance of specific business change products (Change Impact Assessments, Readiness Assessments etc) as directed by the BCM/BCL.
  • Supporting the Business Change Leads with the day to day running of the Regional Change Network, in order to enhance national collaboration and co-ordination of change, including setting up meetings and tracking actions.
  • Assisting the Business Change Team in the day-to-day development and maintenance of the guidance, templates and training to ensure the CTP approach to business change is understood, planned, communicated, implemented and managed in a consistent and effective manner.

About you

Must be an undergraduate student in a sandwich year course returning to study in autumn 2026.
