Student Placement – Project Support and Continuous Improvement – Police Staff – Local Support Services – Counter Terrorism Policing HQ

Contract type – Full Time

Location – West Brompton, London

Band– Student

Salary – £23,936

Information about the Role

Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) is one of the most complex and shifting policing environments. To keep us one-step ahead, we want to recruit an aspiring Project Support Assistant who will assist us with key projects and programmes and related Continuous Improvement within our Local Support Services (LSS). LSS is an enabling service; it has the responsibility for providing the underpinning support to all London based CTP and SO teams, from stationary, right through to accommodation, specialist vehicles and training.

Most of what we achieve may never see the light of day but be assured that we have the very best and brightest working around the clock in an effort to keep us all safe. These ordinary individuals do extraordinary things in an effort to thwart terrorist planning; to safeguard those who are at risk of radicalisation; to protect our critical national infrastructure, institutions and crowded places, and to pursue and bring terrorists to justice.

  • Engaging with key interested parties, including specialist experts in their field and senior management, to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Support in the production of documents describing business processes, gaps, and opportunities, bringing data to life using graphs, pictures, or diagrams
