Three people from Essex have been charged with a number of offences following an investigation by Counter Terrorism Policing North East.
Robert Talland (28/01/1969), is charged with two offences of disseminating terrorist publications, contrary to Section 2 of the Terrorism Act and one offence of possessing recordings of sound which are threatening, abusive or insulting, with a view to them being distributed by himself or another, intending thereby to stir up racial hatred, contrary to section 23 Public Order Act 1986. He is also charged with one offence of Intending to Stir up Racial Hatred, contrary to Section 23 Public Order Act 1986
Robert Talland, Stephen Talland and Rosie Talland are together charged with one offence of conspiring to distribute a recording of sounds which was threatening, abusive or insulting with intent to stir up racial hatred, contrary to section 21 Public Order Act 1986 and section 1 Criminal Law Act 1977.
Stephen Talland (08/03/1989) and Rosie Talland (04/01/1991) are also charged with one offence of Intending to Stir up Racial Hatred, contrary to Section 18 of the Public Order Act 1986.
They have been bailed to appear before the Central Criminal Court on Friday, December 2.
