Information about the Role
We welcome applications from Police Constables for the role of a Maritime Intelligence Officer within Counter Terrorism Borders, based within the Joint Maritime Security Centre (CTP JMSC).
The team works within a maritime multi-agency centre, looking to understand and mitigate national security threats in the maritime domain across our defined core modes (Commercial maritime, General maritime, Freight, Ports and Infrastructure and Cruise).
The role involves seeking opportunities to improve the network’s intelligence picture through engagement and operational activity as well as providing specialist maritime support to the CT network and wider maritime policing.
This role requires someone with a strong background in handling and developing intelligence in line with national guidelines, utilising the various tools and methods at their disposal to develop intelligence and mitigate risks in the maritime.
