Information about the Role
Counter Terrorism Policing North West (CTPNW) is a five-force collaboration delivering Counter Terrorism (CT) services to our regional forces as well as forming part of the national CT Network. CTPNW’s mission is to work together to keep people safe from terrorism.
The Internet Intelligence Investigation Unit (III) Unit is a small specialist unit who conduct covert and overt online investigations for National Security Operations. This unit sits within the Intelligence department of CTPNW.
As part of the III team, you are a task able asset for national security units in order to develop intelligence and capture key evidential material utilising specialist open-source techniques. The role requires Practitioners to become proficient in advanced OSINT tradecraft and apply this effectively in national security investigations.
