Information about the Role
As a Detective Constable within the Investigations Team, you will be responsible for conducting complex and sensitive investigations, managing threat, risk and harm, and contributing to the disruption and prevention of terrorist activity.
Working within a highly specialised environment, you will investigate cases of national importance, develop intelligence and evidential opportunities, and work closely with a wide range of internal and external partners. The role offers a unique opportunity to apply your investigative skills in a challenging and rewarding environment while contributing directly to public safety.
We are seeking highly motivated detectives with strong investigative skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage complex enquiries. Successful candidates will be skilled communicators, capable of building effective working relationships and managing competing priorities within a fast-paced operational environment.
Applicants should hold PIP Level 2 accreditation, with experience of conducting serious and complex investigations. Experience in Counter Terrorism, Major Crime, Serious Organised Crime, safeguarding, covert policing or other specialist investigative disciplines would be advantageous.
