Introduction

Counter Terrorism Policing North West (CTPNW) is a five-force collaboration delivering Counter Terrorism (CT) services to our regional forces as well as forming part of the national CT Network. CTPNW’s mission is to work together to keep people safe from terrorism.

We are looking for a committed and outstanding individual to fulfil the role of Senior Analyst within the Research and Analysis capability in CTPNW.

Information about the specific role

As a Senior Analyst you will be responsible for a regional team of Researchers and Analysts in delivering strategic or tactical research and analysis and identifying CT threats and vulnerabilities. You will be responsible for direct line management of a group of Researchers and Analysts including all administrative functions. You will also be the primary manager responsible for their tradecraft development and quality assurance of their work. In addition, you will contribute to wider CTPNW business through recruitment, development of strategic business objectives and will be part of the wider intelligence management team. We are looking for an individual who demonstrates excellent research and analytical tradecraft with a positive can-do attitude and great team building skills.
