Information about the role
An exciting career development opportunity has become available to work in ERSOU (across both the regional organised crime unit and counter terrorism policing) as a communications lead. This post will see the successful candidate lead on the internal, external and stakeholder communications across the ERSOU command, working closely with partners in the counter-terrorism and regional organised crime unit networks as well as communications teams in the seven forces across the eastern region. A key part of the ERSOU senior leadership team, you will provide strategic communications advice to senior leaders and drive forward change and innovation across the ERSOU communications channels. This post is available as a secondment or career development opportunity to those working across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. Candidates must have the permission of their head of department, prior to applying.
This role is offered as secondment cover for a period of up to March 2026
