Counter Terrorism Policing North West (CTPNW) is a five-force collaboration delivering Counter Terrorism (CT) services to our regional forces as well as forming part of the national CT Network. CTPNW’s mission is to work together to keep people safe from terrorism.
We are looking for a committed and outstanding individual who can support CTPNW in achieving its mission.
FIMU is counter terrorism’s equivalent to a Force Intelligence Bureau. The role involves shifts including on average 2 x sets of nights per year and working within a team processing and developing all the intelligence that comes into CTPNW. There is no requirement for any intelligence or counter terrorism background as all training will be provided. There is also the opportunity to attain the Intelligence Professionalisation Programme accreditation.
