Information about the Role
As an intelligence officer and assessor within the CTPSE OIMU you will be in a unique role, within a blended team of police staff and police officers at the heart of Counter Terrorism investigations. As an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual you will participate in a critical aspect of Counter Terrorism Policing.
In line with the National Standards of Intelligence Management (NSIM) you will be receiving, assessing and managing information and intelligence in support of daily business or specific operations. Using your interpersonal and communication skills, you will act as a conduit for the two-way flow of overt, sensitive and secret information and as an authority on level two issues, you will provide assistance where needed to constitute forces.
You will be identifying and providing relevant, timely information (e.g. intelligence and evidential reports) to contribute to the development of strategic and tactical intelligence assessments, target and problem profiles and other National Intelligence Model products
