Information about the role
CTPNW are looking for a motivated and dynamic constable to join the Mersey/Cheshire Intelligence Development Unit. The role involves both pro-active and reactive work to support the Intelligence Management unit in a wide variety of counter-terrorism investigations across the Northwest. The successful candidate will join a high performing and busy team who provide an outside enquiry capability to the covert counter terrorism intelligence function.
The role requirements are varied and subject to short notice change, so the ability to be flexible and respond to changing situations and priorities is essential. The role requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal with potentially hostile individuals from a wide range of diverse backgrounds.
The successful candidate will have the high level of IT capability and awareness necessary to conduct detailed open-source research and comprehensive reviews of downloads.
