Information about the Role
Day to day management and leadership of complex projects, products and delivery teams across the technology lifecycle within a dynamic and flexible environment, to agreed parameters (time, cost, quality). This role will be expected to focus on project managing the Planning Increment processes within CTP HQ Technology as their primary responsibility, alongside core project delivery.
Responsibilities
Champion and implement effective project/product delivery, supporting the vision to deliver effective technology to counter terrorism, including:
- Manage, own and embed Planning Increments into the Technology Pillar and be responsible for the effective delivery of all outcomes related to the process.
- Leadership of a team to bring consensus to what needs to be achieved to resolve business challenges within our mid to high complexity project(s). The Project Manager needs to be comfortable working across the technology lifecycle.
- Definition and agreement of the appropriate methodologies, governance and reporting mechanisms to be used across project delivery in line with Portfolio Office standards. Understand how and when third parties should be brought into digital, data and technology projects.
