Information about the role

 

To manage the delivery of performance analysis for CTP Wales to support all CTP Wales capabilities and to ensure CTP Wales performance is accurately represented within National CTP performance forums. To maintain, develop and promote the professionalism of analysis and research within CTP Wales. To develop and maintain excellent working relationships with both internal and external partners, promoting and advocating for CTP Wales analysis and research.

 

To provide advice and support in complicated and difficult escalated situations and manage the work of others in the same subject areas. To stay up to date with relevant legislation and national best practice and to support the development and continued improvement to systems and processes within CTP Wales.

 

Responsibilities may include:

  • Provide specialist advice and guidance on non-routine and escalated, complex issues related to area of work
  • Receive and respond to enquiries from customers, including complex and escalated queries
  • Identify, propose and implement developments and improvements to the area, unit or project for the mutual benefit of the force and customers
  • To present a positive image and service to both internal and external customers
  • Monitoring pre-determined budgets and authorising expenditure
  • Manage the recruitment, development, motivation and change processes within a team
  • Draft and Consult on Policy implementation
  • Organise and manage the day-to-day delivery of subject area or projects including planning and deployment of resources
  • Identify risks within own remit, mitigate risks and inform others on risks
