Information about the Role

Joining our rapidly growing Business Change team, we’re looking for a Business Change Manager to help our business understand, prepare, adopt and embed highly complex and diverse change. It’s your chance to play a part in a challenge that’s as important as it gets: protecting the UK and its communities.

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic team member with some experience in managing change. You will join the team and be responsible for the day-to-day management and application of the Business Change framework, tools and methodology to implement sustainable change across the national Counter Terrorism Policing Network.

You will have a varied role, where no two days are the same. You will join the team with a broad understanding of change management, and with support from the team will become a specialist in your field. You will work as part of a busy team, supporting the Business Change Leads in delivering our change portfolio and working closely with our change network and stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you will have

  • An understanding of the principles of change management or transferrable skills.
  • The ability to use information to assess how change is landing and assess risks and blockers, supporting effective decision-making.
  • The ability to provide effective challenge to interested parties
  • Good planning and organisational skills, with the ability to meet demanding deadlines in a pressured environment.

You might have some experience

  • Applying established change management methodologies (for example, Prosci, APMG Change Management/Agent etc.)
  • Working for a (local) government, security agency or within a policing environment
