End User Computing Engineer – Police Staff – ICT – Counter Terrorism Policing South East

This role suits someone who enjoys working hands‑on with technology and helping people. You’ll take pride in simplifying and resolving issues within agreed SLAs, delivering a great user experience, and owning work from start to finish. Enthusiasm, accountability, and attention to detail are as important as technical capability.

You’ll be a strong team player with excellent communication skills, empathy, and professionalism, while also being comfortable working independently. The role involves regular travel across the South East, working remotely from base, and engaging confidently with colleagues and stakeholders on site.

The work is practical and varied, including equipment troubleshooting, installations, office rewiring, and working in server rooms and specialist environments. You’ll be comfortable with hands‑on tasks, flexible working hours, and following safety procedures using specialist tools and PPE (provided).
