A man from Leicester has today (Tuesday, October 24) been found guilty of four counts of Disseminating Terrorist Publications, contrary to Section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006.

The Jury found Adam DADHIWALA (20/03/2004) guilty following a week-long trial at Leicester Crown Court.

He was also sentenced today and received a two year sentence, comprising of a one year custodial sentence and one year extended licence.

DADHIWALA was arrested in March 2022 as part of a pre-planned, intelligence led operation led by Counter Terrorism Policing North East, with support from Leicestershire Police. The investigation centred around sharing of terrorist material on social media. He was subsequently charged with four offences of Disseminating Terrorist Publications on September 28, 2022.
